Scientists of the Engineering Institute of ZNU took part in the I International project “Quick start for Ukraine”
As part of the implementation of the international project “Quick Start for Ukraine”, a delegation visited Magdeburg (Germany), organized by the Zaporizhzhia City Council and the Magdeburg Municipality. The delegation from Ukraine included representatives of higher educational institutions of the city and Zaporizhzhia city council. The Engineering Institute of ZNU was represented by the Head of the Laboratory of Energy Efficient Technologies of the Department of Thermal Power and Hydropower Serhii Ilin.
The internship took place from December 9 to December 13 in the Chamber of Engineering in Magdeburg (Germany), where associate professor Serhii Ilin became an active participant in the workshop “Energy Efficiency and the Municipality: Strategies for Zaporizhzhia and Magdeburg”. The workshop focused on the exchange of experience in the field of energy efficiency of municipalities.
During the internship for representatives of higher educational institutions of Zaporizhzhia organized meetings at the universities of the city of Magdeburg. The result of Serhii Ilin’s internship was not only the experience gained by an advanced European country on the introduction of energy efficient technologies, but also a preliminary agreement with representatives of the municipality, the leadership of the Chamber of Engineering and universities of Magdeburg to continue and deepen cooperation in the training of qualified energy managers.
The project “Quick start for Ukraine” is not completed yet. This year, it is planned to continue cooperation with the Chamber of Engineering of the city. Magdeburg and the scientists of the ZNU Engineering Institute will certainly take part in it.
