ZNU is the leader of the region according to the points of the world university transparency ranking

Cybermetrics Laboratory announced the seventh transparency ranking of universities, which was prepared on the basis of cited data of scientists. According to its results, ZNU occupies a leading position in the Zaporizhzhia region. Below - through 17 positions goes ZNTU, and through 57 - Berdiansk University.

The authors of the rankings believe that quoting in Google is an indicator of the web presence of university scientists, reflecting their activities and is an indicator of the openness of the university. For analysis, official domains or postal addresses of educational institutions are used. It is worth noting that over time, this position - Transparency (or Openness) - the number of quotes by the top authors of the Google Scholar Citations institution is taken into account when compiling the winter and summer ratings of world universities in terms of their presence on the Internet from Webometrics Ranking of World's Universities. According to the results of 2018 (January), ZNU entered the TOP-15 Ukrainian universities in it, taking 11th place. Thus, ZNU confidently improved its previous figure by two positions. It should be noted that it was evaluated about 27 thousand universities and other institutions from around the world. 327 higher educational institutions of Ukraine took the place in this ranking. Zaporizhzhia National University is ahead of all other universities in Zaporizhzhia and the region in the ranking.
