In November the faculty of journalism of ZNU got over 200 text-books from Institute of journalism National Taras Shevchenko university of Kyiv.
It was not the first year that Ukrainian students felt lack of specialized literature and had to use Soviet text-books or foreign sources. A number of new books were sent to the faculty of journalism of ZNU from Kyiv to solve this problem: “Dictionary of a journalist”, “Universal journalist”, “Ethics of mass media”, “Media law” and others. Text-books were sent in the framework of international project EU - Тacis-BBC "ZHORNA", the aim of which is to facilitate reconstruction of education of journalists in Ukraine and approaching of its standards to European ones.
