The All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy and Psychology took place at the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology
At the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, the III (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Pedagogy and Psychology took place. The event was attended by 44 pupils of schools in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region (Berdiansk, Melitopol, Enerhodar, Huliaipole, Prymorsk, Pryazovie, Yakymivka and others). For many pupils, participation in the Olympiad in pedagogy and psychology has already become a good tradition. Moreover, this Olympiad had been held 4 times before at the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of Zaporizhzhia National University.
Professor Oleksandr Hura, vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work congratulated participants and professors. He mentioned that professors and psychologists are the most important professions in modern society, and wished the participants further success. The dean of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology, associate professor Olha Ponomarenko emphasized the relevance of the specialties, and invited all applicants to study on new ones such as “primary education”, “pre-school education” and “special education”. The senior high school students were also congratulated by the honorary guest of the Olympiad Oksana Ustymenko, a methodologist in the Center for Out-of-School Education at a municipal institution «Zaporizhzhia Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education» of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council. The moderator of the event was the deputy dean of career guidance work of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Leshchenko. Participants of the Olympiad were represented by members of the jury, among them were: the head of the acting and design department, professor Halyna Lokarieva, the head of the social pedagogy department, professor Nataliia Zaveryko, the head of the psychology department, associate pr
ofessor Nataliia Huba, and associate professors Yuliana Matskevich and Larysa Ivanova.
At the beginning of the event, pupils got familiar with the presentation about the specialties of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology. Also, each participant of the Olympiad received information brochures and posters of the faculty.
The first place took Bobrova Anastasiia, graduate of 11 grade of Zaporizhzhia classical lyceum, Pivnenko Polina, also the graduate of 11 grade of Zaporizhzhia gymnasium №6, and Lushchits Veronika, pupil of 10 grade of Berdiansk comprehensive school №2.
The second place was taken by Karpova Veronika (Zaporizhzhia collegium “Elint"), Kit Talila, Shtepa Anastasiia, Kholodkov Hlib, Klymenko Oleksandra (Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium №6), Orlova Kateryna (Comprehensive school №10 of Melitopol City Council), Batishcheva Kateryna (Training-Educational complex № 5 of Enerhodar), Zerniak Sofiia (Zaporizhzhia classical lyceum), Arina (Zaporizhzhia social and humanitarian comprehensive school №27).
The third place was taken by Zalevska Olha (Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium № 6), Yara Hanna (Comprehensive school of Huliaipole №1), Kharchenko Diana, Shopova Zlata (Zaporizhzhia collegium “Elint"), Aleksandrova Oleksandra (Specialized school №1 of Prymorsk with in-depth study of individual subjects and courses), Burlakovskyi Oleksii (Training-Educational complex № 5 of Enerhodar), Dzezhyk Iryna (Zaporizhzhia comprehensive school № 51), Oleshko Alona (Specialized school № 25 of Melitopol) and others.
Finally, it is worth noting that the students reacted pretty responsibly to participation in the Olympiad. After all, it brings them closer to the cherished goal and it will help them to become a student of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology of ZNU.
