To International day of student the contest of beauty and talent “Miss and Mister University of Zaporizhzhya-2008” was traditionally organized by the Board in problems of family, youth and sport of Zaporizhzhya municipal council and model agency “Diva”.
One of this year innovations of the contest became participation not only of girls, but also of fellows. The contest passed in several stages: at first participants appeared in folk costumes, the next was “Dancing performance” and then students had to demonstrate their oratorical abilities and advertise the weekly “Telescope”. The party ended with the evening rout, when girls were in wonderful dresses, and boys - in elegant costumes.
Of course, among victors there were many representatives of ZNU. And the student of the faculty of sociology Anton Pshenychny gained the main award of contest – he became “Mister University of Zaporizhzhya-2008”.
