“HIV/ AIDS – view to the future” – such name had traditional for our university round-table discussion devoted to The World Day of struggle with HIV/ AIDS. The Students’ scientific association of ZNU and students of the Social Pedagogics and Psychology Department were the organizers of this discussion.
This meeting raised a great interest among regional public organizations. Representatives of the Regional organization of Ukrainian association of people living with HIV/ AIDS, of the Red Cross organization (they organized the distribution of informative materials among ZNU students) and the representatives of the charity fund “Spodivannja” came to our university to talk to students and to listen to their reports. Also there were members of the Town’s Centre of social services on family and youth business (among its volunteers there are students of the Social Pedagogics and Psychology Department).
One of the best reports, rewarded by the Students’ scientific association, was Artem Cherymnov’s one. In his project “HIV/ AIDS – causes and consequences” he presented biological and medical aspects of the problem.
Many representatives of the Law, Biology, Philological Departments and the Social Pedagogics and Psychology Department took part in the round-table discussion. It gave the opportunity to cover the problem from the different points of view.
The best reports were: Tetjana Dranitsyna, Marija Dergach, Julija Kolombe (students of the Social Pedagogics and Psychology Department), Svitlana Zhulidova (the Philological Department), Sergij Janjkov (the Biology Department), Tsogik Mazmanjan (the Law department).
