Athletes and coaches of the volleyball team "Orbita-ZNU" were congratulated at the university on getting the "silver" of the Ukrainian championship
On May 10, the players and the coaching staff of the women's volleyball team "Orbita-ZNU" were congratulated in Zaporizhzhia National University on outstanding victory. They took the 2nd place of the 28th Ukrainian Volleyball Championship among the women's teams of the Super League. The initiator of the event was the rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, who always monitors the success of the team and fully supports it.
In order to congratulate the volleyball players and all those who supported the girls on their way to the sport podium, ZNU was visited by the deputy chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Eduard Huhnin, the head of the Department of youth, physical culture and sports of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Nataliia Vlasova and the chairman of Zaporizhzhia branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Volodymyr Lobanov. In addition, the vice-rector Oleksandr Bondar, the vice-rector for scientific work Hennadii Vasylchuk, the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work Yurii Kahanov and the dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Mykola Malikov attended the solemn event.
At the beginning of the award ceremony, rector Mykola Frolov congratulated all its participants. He noted that the "silver" of the Championship of Ukraine in the Super League is a significant result for the team "Orbita-ZNU". Therefore, all university representatives are proud of athletes, sincerely grateful for their great efforts and hard work. He expressed confidence that next season the volleyball players will perform even better, and perhaps they will be able to win the “gold” of the championship.
He awarded the captain of the team Olena Hrytsuniak two tablets from sponsors. In addition, all the athletes - Olena Hrytsuniak, Anastasiia Dudarenko, Polina Pass, Viktoriia Nikolaichuk, Yuliia Dymar, Viktoriia 
Savchenko, Viktoriia Oliinyk, Lidiia Luchko, Anna Kharchynska, Anna Shumeiko, Nataliia Lukhanina, Alika Lutsenko and Kseniia Puhach earned honorific mention of the Rector of ZNU, flowers and awards.
Mykola Oleksandrovych said a few warm words to the team coach Volodymyr Buzaiev, who, unfortunately, could not be present at ZNU that day. The rector noted the hard and dedicated work of the entire coaching staff, whose representatives made a significant contribution to the successful performances of athletes. In addition, he thanked the director of Sports complex of ZNU Mykhailo Protas and his deputy Oleksandra Petrenko, because on the basis of the sports and fitness complex there are trainings and performances of the team.
He presented thanks and awards to the executive director of the volleyball club Iryna Tsvietkova, coaches and professors Serhii Popov, Iryna Komisarova, Volodymyr Buhaiev, Volodymyr Diachenko, Vira Rumiantseva, Olha Popovych, Viktor Kardailskyi and Oleksii Shymshyt. In addition, all those present rewarded them with loud applause.
In turn, Eduard Huhnin, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl congratulated those present. Eduard Huhnin presented the certificate of honor of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration to Iryna Komisarova and gave the same certificate for presentation to Volodymyr Buzaiev.

hnin thanked rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov for his attention to the sports life of the university and the entire Zaporizhzhia region, as well as for the support of the team. Other honorable guests of the event, Natalia Vlasova, Volodymyr Lobanov and Mykola Malikov, joined these words of sincere gratitude to the athletes.
During the event, Natalia Vlasova presented sweet gifts to all volleyball players. In turn, Iryna Tsvietkova noted the team athletes with the medals of the Championship of Ukraine. At the same time, the medal was awarded to ZNU rector Mykola Frolov. In addition, he and Natalia Vlasova received certificates of merit from the hands of Iryna Tsvietkova for supporting the club.
Volodymyr Lobanov noted the importance of winning Zaporizhzhia volleyball players at the All-Ukrainian level. And also he handed the rector Mykola Frolov an honorary cup for the victory of the team "Orbita-ZNU". Serhii Popov was awarded an honorary diploma of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
Captain Olena Hrytsuniak thanked the rector Mykola Frolov for the support of the athletes and their faith in them on behalf of the whole team. She handed Mykola Oleksandrovych an honorary cup and assured that the team would do everything in the next season to take the first step of the podium.
The award ceremony ended with a general photo for memory.
