At the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhizhya National University the charitable action “Help children-orphans” lasted during November. The initiator of its carrying out became student’s board of the faculty.
During the action a lot of toys and about two thousands grivnas were gathered. On these means future economists have got board games; volleyball, basketball and football balls; set for table and big tennis and sweets.
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day representatives of the faculty visited Matvijivs’ka boarding school (Vilnyans’k district). Pupils of the boarding school have joyfully met the Dean of the Faculty Emiliya Prushkovska, her assistant in educational work Victoriya Semchenko. Students in the roles of St. Nicholas Day (Denys Golubev), the Angel (Katerina Yaresko) have told the children St. Nicholas’ story, about his childhood, life, affairs and how Christians celebrated this day.
St. Nicholas has congratulated children on Christmas holidays, has given gifts and has promised that next year he will come to them again.
