18th FINA World Championship is taking place in the Korean city of Kvandzhau. Ukraine is represented at the competitions by 29 athletes in four types: artistic swimming, diving, swimming and swimming in open water. Among them is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of ZNU, Zaporizhzhia athlete Sergey Frolov.
Sergey Frolov succeeded to get to the finals at a distance of 800 m freestyle. In qualifying, he showed the seventh result of 7: 47.25. And the same position he got in the final, swimming the distance in 7 minutes, 47.32 seconds.
And on July 27, Zaporizhzhia athelete Sergey Frolov will take part in the preliminary swims at a distance of 1500 meters freestyle
It should be remembered that this year the athlete triumphantly performed at the LEN-2019 Cup (European Swimming League) in Luxembourg. He won two "gold" at this competition: at a distance of 1500 m and 800 m freestyle.
