By results of great Ukrainian project of the National Memory book’s edition, which consists of 18 volumes from 17 regions of our country, the volume, created in Zaporizhzhya region, was declared one of the best. The base of working group, which worked at this edition, is formed from representatives of Zaporizhzhya National University.
The work of editorial group was marked off by Gratitude of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, and also gratitude of the head of Ukrainian Institute of national memory Igor Yukhnovsky which in his time had become the initiator of the project’s creation of the National Memory book’s edition. The gratitude to the head of the book’s editorial staff, the pro-rector Professor Fedir Turchenko was handed over by the assistant of the head of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration Olexandr Berezhny.
Scores of people have taken part in the work at the volume. Among the most active workers of editorial group Fedir Grygorovych has named the Dean of the Faculty of History, the associate professor Victor Tkachenko, the assistant of the Dean of the Faculty of History associate professor Inna Shugaleva, the Doctor of historical sciences, Professor Olexandr Ignatusha, the associate professor of the Faculty of Philology Olga Stadnychenko and the student of the Faculty of History Olexy Shtel.
