Project “Stories of Success of ZNU Graduates”: graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, online marketing specialist Mariia Shapochka
The University of ZNU Graduates Stories of Success is being implemented at the University. And another piece of this column is devoted to the story of the experience of professional formation and success of a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Zaporizhia National University, specializing in German Philology, Mariia Shapochka. After graduating from ZNU, she continued her studies and received her diploma in Germany, studying German studies, as well as transmedia relations. Now Maria teaches German in college and works in the field of online marketing.
- Memories of studying at ZNU remained only positive. Collaboration with student government supplemented the training and made it even more interesting. At the time of my studies at the department were strong teachers.
- I continued my education in Germany because I wanted to gain new experience, deepen my knowledge of the specialty and get to know another perspective of science. I attended Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg. My master's program was called Germanistik: Transfer, Kultur und Intermedialität. It was no longer foreign philology, but German studies. The topic of modern media has become more and more interesting to me, which is why I have acquired an additional qualification of an online marketing manager.
- At this time of crisis, I am developing online education and at the same time expanding the opportunities of two companies where I am marketing. I want to know more about this industry because it is future. I do not know if I will stay in Germany, but I know for sure that it is now important to develop in different directions in order to be as mobile and flexible as possible. You need to be able to respond quickly. For example, during a quarantine, our college developed a concept of online education for our colleagues in one week. At one of the companies, my team and I launched an online ordering system in 3 days and are actively promoting it. The regional market is extremely specific. People in Germany differ in their habits and mentality. That is why businesses are taking on a big challenge today.
