Today in Zaporizhzhya national the project of Committee in family youth and sports affairs of Zaporizhzhya regional administration «Deviance of youth in Zaporizhzhya region» has started. Subsequently such meetings will be led in all higher educational institutions of our region.
Conference was preceded with sociological research on corresponding theme during which 909 persons were interrogated, among them 426 - boys, 483 - girls. There were many students of ZNU at the meeting who with interest took part in the discussion of vital problems of modern youth. Guests, and organizers of the action, were Anastasija Sklyaruk, the head of committee in family, youth and sports affairs of Zaporizhzhya regional administration, Lyubov Yarova, the assistant of the head of committee in family, youth and sports affairs, Oksana Panikarova, the director of the center of social services for family, children and youth, and Iryna Kuratchenko, the director of the center of social and psychological help.
By the results of sociological research, the main value for modern youth is health. On the second place they put family and brining up children, and on the third there is a desire to get the worthy salary. In the rating of popular ways of spending free time leaders are communication with friends, watching TV programs and leisure in the Internet. As for the most serious problems of modern youth interrogated people consider drug addiction, AIDS, alcoholism, fights, and extortion.
At the end of the meeting Iryna Kuratchenko invited all wishing to visit the center of social and psychological help. Every Saturday at 14.00 in the center they conduct free-of-charge group studies «Interpersonal relations», «Psychology of family relations» and «Psychology of conflicts».
