On Sunday, February 28th the Zaporizhzhya National University welcomed around the thousand of the high schools seniors. They participated in the 2nd (oblast) round of the All-Ukrainian Contest-Defending of Scientific Research Papers of Youth Academy of Science.
Beginning from 1991 ZNU cooperates with Youth Academy of Science. Rector Sergiy Tymchenko is a head of Zaporizhzhya Department of the Academy. This year contest was held in 6 divisions (History and Geography, Philology and Art, Chemistry and Biology, Physics and Mathematics, Calculating Techniques and Programming, and Technical Science) and 30 sections.
100 ZNU professors are in the juries of the contests of the Youth Academy of Science. The best of the contests winners will have the privileges in the university entering process.
