Journalism Department teacher, experienced journalist Yuriy Botner presented his report about the visiting of the international conference "New Ukrainian Journalism: From the Threats to the Best European Practices", which occurred in Kiev, on February 26-27th.
The conference was organized by the joined project of European Council and European Commission "Promotion of the European Standards in the Ukrainian Media Environment", National Commission on the Consolidation of the Freedom of Speech and Informational Sphere Development, Association "Shared Space", Institute of Media Law and Anatoly Moskalenko Journalism Development Fund.
32 Ukrainian and foreign journalists and media experts participated in the conference. They shared their experience with each others and discussed the ways of Ukrainian journalism development.
