Over the past six years according to the Ministry's of Education and Science of Ukraine statistics there were thirteen deaths at the physical training lessons. Only one of them was connected with the trauma. Official death reasons were named as the cardiovascular collapse. In 2008 the new normative was adopted. According to it the cross, grenade throwing, and jumps over the vaulting horse were cancelled totally.
The ZNU students tried to find the reasons of the situation at the round table discussion. The event was organized by the Scientific Society of Students and Graduates of ZNU and the Faculty of Physical Training.
Students from different departments participated in the round table, which main conclusive idea was that individual norms for each pupil are needed in order to solve the problem.
