On April 27th in Zaporizhzhya National University there was the second festival of the Ukrainian song. 22 participants from different ZNU departments, international students and famous singers took part in it.
The festival program was compressed from the bards' songs, folk and modern songs. The singers also showed theatrical staging, ballroom dances, and masterly music. But not only the songs and dances were at the festival. The contest of the Ukrainian dishes was organized within the festival. Each department presented the dish: syrnyky, pampyshky, golybtsi, borsch and others. The most delicious dish was the one prepared by department of Social Pedagogy and Psychology.
The festival of Ukrainian Song winners are:
1st place and certificate for 1000 hryvnyas have gone to the essemble of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Psychology;
2nd place and certificate for 700 hryvnyas (for each student) – Ihor Pylypenko (the Department of Sociology and Administrating) and Mykola Bilyk(the Department of Philology);
3rd place and certificate for 500 hryvnyas – Anna Vasilenko (the Economic Department).
