On May 25th, 2010 in the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko Kiyv National University there was the conference "Youth and New Media" organized by the "Suspilnist" Foundation. The students of seven big national journalism schools and departments gathered for discussing the ways of the cooperation.
The students from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Luhansk, Simpheropol, Odessa, and Lviv gathered for the conference. ZNU students presented the independent internet-portal project Porogy funded by the US Embassy in Kyiv grant. This portal was named as one of the most successful projects out of 100 supported by US Embassy Media Fund.
The agreement of cooperation was reached by the student portals from all over Ukraine.
