During February-December 2010 the final competitions of the Sport Games of the Higher Educational Establishments of ІІІ-ІV levels of accreditation were held. Zaporizhzhya National University won 2nd team place among the institutions of the 2nd category (whose that have the departments of the physical education).
The student athletes of 126 institutions participated in the Games. According to the competitions results ZNU is on the 9th place out of 126. ZNU students participated in the competitions in men soccer, track and field athletics, weight lifting, tae kwon do, judo, and swimming. By the way, swimming was the most successful kind of sport for our athletes.
