At the World Championship in Track and Field Athletics for Disabled Athletes, which is taking place in New Zealand from January, 26 to January, 31, the representative of Zaporizhzhya Company Invasport, the senior of the ZNU Department of History Maria Pomazan made the world record in putting the shot.
Her result is 10, 61 meters that bit her own previous achievement – 9, 8 meters, which she showed in Cheboksary, Russia on July 2010.
Maria Pomazan has movement disabilities since the childhood. Since 2008 the girl has been training in the group for disabled athletes coached by Tamara Edisherashvili, the teacher of the sport school Invasport.
