The student of the Department of Physical Education Marina Chernyak won silver in the women category at the Judo World Championship, which took place on January 29th-30th in Bulgaria. The Ukrainian team won one silver, one bronze, and four of the 5th places, and as a result was 7th among 32 countries.
On her way to the silver medal Marina had beat athletes from Canada, Portugal and Russia. In the final game she lost to the champion from Turkey Akkus Sumee.
