The Department of Design of Zaporizhzhia National University is an educational and creative centre that combines the academic tradition of the classical art school, modern technologies and practical training of future designers. Our approach is based on the development of individual style, critical thinking and the ability to find creative solutions. We have been training a generation of young designers since 2016. Our team consists of 9 lecturers (3 associate professors, 3 senior lecturers and 3 lecturers) who are practicing designers. Among us are 2 candidates of pedagogical sciences, 2 doctors of philosophy in pedagogy and 1 Honoured Artist of Ukraine. We are members of professional creative unions: the Union of Designers of Ukraine, the National Union of Artists, the Union of Advertisers, which guarantees students a connection with professional reality.
