Participation of students and teachers in various meetings with foreign delegations, information days organized by international agencies and foundations
On September 22, 2015, the meeting of the international round table "Business incubators as a tool for sustainable development of Ukraine's economy" took place. It was attended by representatives of the university administration and the Faculty of Economics, students and guests from the University of Silesia ((ląskie) in Katowice (Uniwersytet Śląski w Katowicach), as well as representatives of city organizations and the media. The march took place to promote the Zaporozhye Regional Society of Polish Culture. A. Mickiewicz and the State Organization "Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support in Zaporozhye region". The Polish guests spoke about the purpose of their visit and shared their Polish experience in implementing reforms. Veronika Hrychtol and Oleksandra Hantsazh were in Zaporizhia to exchange experiences and teach a 10-day Polish language and culture course at the Polish Culture Society, as well as to disseminate information among Ukrainian youth about study opportunities in Poland, including the University of Silesia in Katowice.
On December 11, 2015, representatives of the Faculty of Economics took part in the training for representatives of higher educational institutions of Ukraine on writing educational projects as part of the Erasmus + information days. The composition of the training participants was formed after the preliminary selection by the commission of the National Erasmus + office in Ukraine.
It was attended by representatives of the National Mining University (Dnepropetrovsk), Kherson State University, Dnepropetrovsk Medical Academy, Donetsk National Technical University (Krasnoarmeysk), Kharkiv State University of Food and Trade, Vasily Dokuchaev Kharkiv Agrarian University, Dahl East Ukrainian National University , Bogdan Hmelnitsky Cherkasy National univercity, Zaporizhia Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Ivan Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University and others. On behalf of ZNU, the trainings were attended by Deputy Deans for International Affairs Natalia Mosol (SPP Faculty), Lesya Kovalenko (Faculty of History), Iryna Hanza (Faculty of Management), Alina Osaul (Faculty of Economics), research and teaching staff of the University - Lyudmila Bukharina, Olena Leshchenko , Tetyana Odynets, Dmytro Ocheretin (Faculty of Economics), Alyona Aganina, as well as representatives of the Department of International Relations and Work with Foreign Students Victoria Vertegel (Head of the Department) and Kateryna Kasyan (Leading Specialist of the Department).
During the training, representatives of the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine considered the principles of building application forms in the areas, provided recommendations for the preparation of project applications (logical-structural matrix, work packages, etc.) in the areas of "Development of higher education potential", "Credit Mobility", “Jean Monnet”. For seven hours, participants worked in groups on the design of a collective idea for the project and their presentation. According to the results of the work, all participants received certificates.
On April 2, 2016, a bright cultural meeting of teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics with a delegation of Anhui Pedagogical University (PRC) took place. The guests spoke about the prospects of studying at the Confucius Institute. For example, graduates of the Institute can continue their studies at Anhui Pedagogical University. One of the conditions is a successfully passed HSK qualification test in Chinese. It has 7 levels, for master's or postgraduate studies it is necessary to have a level not lower than the 5th. The head of Tian Jiao's Beijing office in Ukraine Chen Hoisheng, who visited ZNU with Chinese educators, added that studying at the Confucius Institute was a good investment in the future. After the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Anhui Pedagogical University, ZNU began preparations for the opening of the Confucius Institute. According to guests from China, this procedure usually takes a year. But the administration of Zaporizhia National University is optimistic and plans to launch this project in the second semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. On April 5, 2016, economists had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Manoja Kumara Bharti on "India yesterday, today, tomorrow." Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti dedicated a lecture for students to the history of the development and present of one of the oldest civilizations in the world. "India is so diverse that you will be surprised to get to know it better," he said. Mr. Ambassador paid special attention to the philosophy and development of the knowledge system of ancient India. He spoke of Vedic knowledge, which was transmitted orally and contained information about all areas of human life. The guest recited lines from Vedic sources, which present the calculations of the number π, and also demonstrated the ancient method of multiplying multi-digit numbers, which intrigued the young people present in the hall.
On May 28, 2016, the Faculty of Economics took part in the celebration of the Days of Polish Culture. Dean of the Faculty of Economics Cherep Alla Vasylivna, Deputy Dean for International Affairs Osaul Alina Oleksandrivna, representatives of the Student Council of the Faculty of Economics headed by Arsen Puchkov and students majoring in International Economics accepted an invitation from the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Union of Polish Culture named after A. Mitskevich O.Yu. Pavlyuk regarding participation in solemn events. The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv Janusz Jablonski was present at the meeting at the Zaporizhia Regional Art Museum, where the presentation of the art album "Our Poland" took place by the National Cultural Society named after Adam Mickiewicz.
The Faculty of Economics has traditionally been active in celebrating Europe Day for five years in a row. The country presented by the Faculty of Economics is Italy. May 21, 2016 was no exception. In the morning, a real "European town" was built on the territory of Zaporizhia National University. Thematic tents were set up in the square, in each of which the guests of the holiday could get acquainted with many European countries, their traditions, taste national cuisine, receive ethnographic souvenirs, listen to ethnic music, get information about participation in educational programs of academic exchanges. Students of the Faculty of Economics under the leadership of Deputy Dean for International Affairs Osaul Alina Alexandrovna delighted all the guests of the holiday with delicious dishes based on recipes of Italian cuisine. All products, namely fragrant pizza, sweets rafaello and traditional pasta with different flavors, presented on the table, were made by students of the Faculty of Economics, and the secret ingredient of the dishes was that they were made from the heart. Everyone could also get stickers with the Italian flag, take pictures with our students dressed in dresses of the colors of the Italian flag - white, red, green. In addition to photos, the girls invited guests to learn more about the culture of this multifaceted country.
