The main purpose of scientific research activities of the Department of Personnel Management and Marketing is to increase the scientific potential of teachers, and to obtain scientific results in the areas of marketing, personnel management and international marketing. They are applied for the development of disciplines’ curriculum, lectures, practical classes, manuals; for the involvement of students in creative and scientific activity, for teaching them how to find effective solutions to problems, acquisition of practical experience in the chosen specialty; organic combination of the education content and scientific activity programs; approaching of educational process to real needs of society and the state.
The results of scientific activity are regularly published in scientific journals and tested at scientific conferences, are used to prepare new monographs and lectures.
The personnel of the department take an active part in the organization of international scientific conferences, scientific-practical conferences, round tables, both at the level of university and at the national level in order to test the results of scientific research.
In the results of scientific research teachers and staff of the department annually publish more than 20 scientific papers. More than 30 reports are made at scientific conferences of various levels, including co-authorship with students of the faculty. A monograph on current topics of theory and practice in accordance with the scientific interests of faculty and profile of the department is issued annually.
The department organizes international collaboration, in particular to train teachers and postgraduates in related universities abroad, joint work on the grants implementation.
An important component of the department activity is the search for new and distribution of existing forms of education and research work of students and postgraduates. These forms of scientific activity include: students participation in the implementation of scientific developments, conduction of independent research, writing research papers, reports at scientific conferences and participation in discussions, activation of innovation and investment activities at enterprises in Zaporizhzhia.
According to the results of research, students prepare papers for the competitions of scientific works, department holds scientific-practical seminars, exemplary suppositions of students are published in collections of scientific works.
The department conducts work on the opportunities for students to participate in the summer language school and internships at foreign partner universities.
Students scientific works of have been awarded with awards of national and regional competitions of scientific works.
Thus, the scientific activity of the department contributes to the involvement of gifted students in scientific work and most of the planned activities are organized to use the scientific potential of all teachers of the department without exception.
