The Department of Publishing and Editing was created as a base for the training of specialists in the new direction of preparation "Publishing and Editing" in 2004. The department is headed by a candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Tetyana Plekhanova. There are 6 employees, 5 of them are associate professors, candidates of sciences, 1 senior professor.
The department provides the development of the theory of editing, printing, text and training of editors-specialists for work in publishing houses and printing centers on the basis of modern information and publishing technologies.
