Oleksandr Briantsev, a senior lecturer at the Department of Design and a member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, has a number of exhibitions and relevant posts about these events. In December 2021, the Museum of History of Zaporizhzhia National University hosted an exhibition of paper models of Cologne Cathedral and Notre Dame Cathedral in Reims by Oleksandr Briantsev, a senior lecturer and paper engineer. This event was covered in a publication on the web portal of the «Suspilne.Novyny TV channel, in a video by the "Ukraine. Suspilne Television" on YouTube and in the video of "Suspilne. Zaporizhzhia" on Facebook (the post received 257 thousand views, more than 20 thousand likes and 409 comments). An article about the exhibition of Rouen and Cologne cathedrals was published in the "MIG” newspaper. In total, Oleksandr Bryantsev has 10 cathedrals in his oeuvre, which he has shown at various times during exhibitions in different cities of Ukraine: in the Melitopol Museum of Local Lore (video by MTV-plus Melitopol), within the context of the V International Congress "European Vector of Development of Ukrainian Ethnodesign" in the Vasyl Krychevskyi Poltava Museum of Local Lore (video by the "Central. Among the team's outstanding creative achievements is the development of Senior Lecturer of the Design Department Oleksandr Briantsev and Associate Professor Hanna Chemerys, who created a three-dimensional design and illustrations for the pop-up book "Ivan Bohatyr". In May 2022, Zaporizhzhia National University hosted the grand opening of

the exposition of the Museum of ZNU History, which was distinguished by the original addition of modern paintings of ZNU buildings, its colleges, and the Engineering Institute to each showcase, created in modern digital art techniques by a well-known Zaporizhzhia artist, lecturer at the Design Department Kateryna Tarlinska.

Student creative activity

Our students also demonstrate active creative activity. For example, Anastasiia Dymova, a master's student of design, developed a design project "Ukraine begins with you", in which she demonstrated the originality and relevance of authentic Ukrainian culture in digital ethnopostcards and was invited to join the cohort of  illustrators of the book "Ukrainian Bestiary" (Maloviy Publishing House).

Everyone was able to see the works of the talented young people during the exhibition "Territory of DESIGN". The exhibition consisted of computer graphics, logos, packaging design, book projects, social posters, and font posters.

The works of design bachelors were exhibited at the "Session to Session" exhibition. The presented artworks, made in different techniques and using different materials, revealed different issues and told their own special stories.

The art exhibition in the scientific library "Shevchenko - an artist with a poet's soul" impressed visitors with the creativity of the posters presented, as the slogan of the art exhibition was the desire to move away from clichés in the presentation of the Great Kobzar - a classic known to all since childhood.

Traditionally, the applicants also exhibited their works at the regional exhibition and competition for young artists "Steps to Mastery-2021". The exhibition featured about 180 diverse artworks, including graphics, paintings, posters, illustrations, and ceramics.

In November 2022, given the realities of the time, a presentation of art by students of the Design Department was held in a bomb shelter as part of the "Vilna" Charity Contest. The art objects presented by the future designers, together with the works of other Ukrainian art visionaries, helped in the important task of orchestrating meanings where words are still being found.

Applicants of the educational and professional programme "Graphic Design" are actively involved in international activities through participation in international competitions:
