In accordance with part 2 of Article 41 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education" of September 5, 2017 № 2145VIII the components of the quality assurance system of education are:
- quality assurance system in educational establishments (internal quality assurance system);
- system of external quality assurance in education;
- quality assurance in the governing bodies and institutions providing external quality assurance for education.
According to paragraph 3 of this Article, the quality assurance system in educational establishments (internal quality assurance system) can include:
- strategy (policies) and procedures for education quality assurance;
- system and mechanisms for ensuring academic integrity;
- published criteria, rules and procedures for student evaluation;
- published criteria, rules and procedures for evaluation of teaching and research carried out by the academic staff;
- published criteria, rules and procedures for evaluating the university management by the administration;
- ensuring the availability of the resources necessary for the organization of the education, including for the students’ independent work;
- ensuring the availability of information systems for the effective management of the educational institution;
- creating an inclusive educational environment, universal design and smart solutions in the educational institution;
Other procedures and measures defined by special laws or documents of the educational establishment.
